About Eli
Eli 2.0 – Authentic, Humble and Intentional
Leveraging challenges and opportunities to create positive change.
I’m not a big fan of self-promoting which is kind of ironic since I care a lot about helping others leverage their influence. But I didn’t start here.
In the process of finding my own purpose (to be in service to others as a coach), I amassed a lot of leadership experience as an exec in the fields of Sales, Marketing and Communications. If you like, you can request my CV to get a better sense of that.
The real reason I think you should choose me as your coach is based upon my life experience - you know, all that really messy stuff that no one likes to talk about, yet you learn the most from and humbles you. I believe that, along with genuinely caring about others, are my biggest differentiators and the reasons I hope you will choose me as your coach.
Through my pursuit of lifelong learning, as well as a healthy appetite for curiosity, I had my own mindset shift toward wanting to help others versus serving only myself/my career. Hence “Eli 2.0”. Because I care deeply about my clients and know first-hand that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself.
My Biography
Life & Leadership coaching is my passion and big breakthroughs for my clients is my greatest reward. I truly love helping leaders develop into their best selves so they can make a lasting impact on the world.
After a long stint in corporate America, I began consulting as an independent contractor in 2008. Soon after, I realized the need to add coaching to my repertoire so I became a professionally trained coach with an emphasis in Leadership Development and have been coaching ever since.
Having previously held multiple executive roles in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors as well as a demonstrated history working in the management consulting industry, I bring real life leadership experience to my coaching engagements.
In 2017 I became a highly trained, intercultural competency enthusiast and licensed Qualified Administrator (QA) of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). When George Floyd’s murder (2020) sparked a heightened awareness of systemic issues, I was quickly able to engage by delivering coaching and training in both the private and public sectors. Since then, I’ve been working with and on various teams, extensively utilizing the IDI and other tools, helping individuals and organizations make meaningful changes in their organizational culture
I have an undergraduate degree in Communications, a graduate level certificate in Business Communications and an MBA with an emphasis in Management. As such, I have highly developed team leadership, facilitation, communication, strategic ideation & planning skills.
Some of the values I hold highest are humble leadership, lifelong learning, emotional + cultural intelligence (EQ + CQ), appreciating differences, systems thinking and empowering others. I believe these inform and guide me as a coach, enabling me to better serve others.
On a personal note, I was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota and currently live in Minneapolis with my husband. We are both remarried, have two adult children, love to travel globally and are very involved in our church and with its local and global mission partners.
I hope you will decide to work with me. I am excited about the opportunity to work with you to see what your next chapter holds!
In support of you,
Eli (she/her/hers)
