FAQ
The potential is truly endless, but some of the biggest benefits are the ability to declutter your mind, strengthen your self-trust, and be empowered to choose your most fulfilling life.
It depends upon your needs and how much you hope to get out of it. I highly recommend staying flexible and avoiding timeframes. A coaching engagement ranges anywhere from 3 months to 3 years. Once a client is established, the cadence is up to you. I have clients who use me bi-weekly, others who check-in as needed (established clients only) and some never leave. When there is completion, it will be clear and openly discussed.
I maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality. I abide by the International Coaching Federation’s (ICF) Code of Ethics.
Many companies insist upon and very willingly pay for their employees to be coached. I have different coaching agreements for both individuals and organizations depending upon who’s paying. Often times a company will agree to pay for all or a portion of the expense. One way to position this and demonstrate that you have “skin in the game” is by offering to pay for some of the investment toward your own development.
Lucky you! You are clearly thought to have amazing potential or they would not make this kind of an investment. Though, I believe an individual must also "want" to be coached for our time together to be worthwhile. It’s a great investment in one’s personal and professional growth - no matter who’s paying - so a growth mindset is most helpful.
Coaching is not a substitution for, nor should it be confused with counseling/therapy. Many of my clients have a counselor/therapist as well. I consider this to be a very healthy practice and I welcome coaching you in tandem with your pursuit of therapy.
Be flexible. Give yourself permission to enjoy flexibility. Because we are talking about the present and the future, there may be things that change and completely shift your focus. I’m fine with that and hope you are too.
